Astringent

"Quite astringent and felt very weird /bad going down my throat. The vanilla and butter notes aren’t noticeable. I had higher hopes. Not the worst I’ve had but I wouldn’t buy it again. The color and powder quality were great but the taste wasn’t the best."

Cracked on this every day

"This is a great niche company - I love all their matcha and order a couple of cans every couple of months. I think a lot of the matcha on the market now is faux or contains additives that give bad matcha its color - but Mizuba has always been high quality for me! Love them and their daily matcha is a great go to."

Hit or miss?

"I had previously enjoyed Mizuba Daily, thought it was great for everyday matcha lattes. So I ordered it again. I was disappointed to see the color much more dull like oxidized upon opening and matcha smells and tastes differently. It smells more like regular sencha when whisked (I'm from Japan and I regularly drank green tea growing up) and lacks flavor. I'm not sure if I remembered the flavor wrong or I got a bad batch, but I don't think I'll re-order this one."

Best matcha for beginners!

"So pleasantly surprised by how nutty, smooth, umami, and pleasant Mizuba Tea Co. 's Daily Matcha is for such an affordable price! Highly recommend it for beginners to matcha as well as those who need great tasting matcha on a budget. I was able to get a good microfoam with this matcha, too. :D"

Fresh and high quality

"This is delicious matcha. Fresh and high quality. I find lately that I buy teas other places and it just tastes dead. This is matcha I can trust. I know that probably sounds weird, but you can tell this company is legit."

— Elizabeth Z. (5/5)

Best in the game

"This is the best match in the game + for the best price! I tell anyone and everyone to get this + if a coffee shop has it as their matcha offering - better believe I am getting an iced matcha!!"

— Alayna H. (5/5)

Prefer Other Matchas from Mizuba

"I usually love all my matcha from Mizuba, I really loved my shirakawa and my house matcha from Mizuba, but the daily felt like low quality. I am wondering if i just got a bad batch or something."

— Katie (2/5)

Amazing 10/10

"If you are looking for a review to convince you to purchase the matcha, this is the one. Absolutely do it. The taste and fragrance of the matcha is incredible and the packaging to pour the matcha in its tin was great. I am excited to try the other variations they have but this seems like a very beginner friendly taste and texture to work with as you situate. What an amazing team!"

Daily every day all the way!

"This was my second time ordering and it was great! Arrived earlier than I thought it would and they even wrote me a little note and doodled on the box! Overall would purchase again especially since the quality of matcha is unbeatable. It's light and can be paired with anything."

— Xiaoxin L. (5/5)

Will be buying again!

"Sooooo good!!! I’ve been trying to find a high quality matcha for a while now that doesn’t break the bank and this is it. Super happy with what I got and will be purchasing again."

— Emily S. (5/5)

Q&A

In our household we drink matcha every day and its 2-4 servings a day. The small container doesn't last long, so I was wondering, do you sell larger size packages? The 1.4oz runs out quickly and creates waste. Would love access to larger quantity so we can reduce waste of tin can and packaging as well. Thank you,
Hi there! We love your enthusiasm for our tea! If you’re looking for a larger size, we *highly* recommend our 100g organic culinary: https://mizubatea.com/collections/matcha-green-tea/products/culinary-organic-matcha It’s quite similar to Daily as it is very smooth, but with the benefit of being packaged in 100g :) Thank you for your support of our farms in Japan!
