Keto diet approved paleo holiday bliss balls made with organic matcha green tea

Golden Buddha Bliss Balls

December 04, 2018

Our dear friends at Golden Buddha Yoga in Ocean City, New Jersey came up with these delicious, yet super healthy treats! We're all for raw, plant-based snacks that taste like dessert but are secretly super-nutritious.
Thanks for the recipe, GB!
Matcha Mint Bliss Ball Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut, plus more for rolling
12-15 pitted dates (soak in hot water to soften for a few minutes)
2 drops peppermint extract (we used doTERRA)
1 tsp Mizuba Culinary Organic Matcha
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of pink salt
Optional: your favorite adaptogens such as ashwagandha, reishi, chaga, etc
Mizuba Matcha keto approved holiday "bliss" balls. raw plant based and vegan

Method:
1. Place cashews into your food processor and pulse until nuts are in small chunks.
2. Add nuts and the rest of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix everything together with your hands, making sure that dates are well mashed.
3. Using an ice cream scooper, form about 12-14 balls
4. Roll each ball into shredded coconut. We also topped ours with calendula flowers!
Perfect to bring to a party and eat all year!
