A favorite in the coffee world, ORIGAMI is famous for crafting high-quality drinkware and their tea offerings are no exception. Kata means "one side" and Kuchi means "spout." A chawan with a pour spout on one side is called Katakuchi. 

This special, spouted chawan holds up to 2 cups for whisked usucha (お薄茶) matcha  – perfect for pouring tea for 2 or making your favorite morning latte.

The bowl's form is ergonomic and comfortable in the hands, and its dense clay body retains heat for even brewing and optimal flavor.
