BETTER WITH TIME

"I, like many others here, ordered this because one of my favorite youtubers said it was one of her favorite daily matchas (Matcha Mondays with Michelle, iykyk). When it first arrived, I was a little skeptic because of the color. The first latte that I made with it was not the best. It tasted super fishy. But the second one was a little better. And the third one was better than the second one as well. After that it seemed to get better and I liked it more."

Perfectly balanced every day matcha

"Mizuba tea has been my go-to every day for the perfect morning matcha (iced and hot). It has such a balanced flavor with just the right amount of bold earthiness, I love this tea for any style matcha, any time of the day. I would recommend this to anyone!"

Very bland

"I got the mizuba daily matcha beacuse i saw this girl on youtube really liked this matcha from the brand. When i opened it, it was very similar to the rishi matcha i got from the grocery store. I didnt really like that one becasue it was bitter, bland and astringent. It had the same smell and color, which was a yellowish green. The taste of the daily matcha was very bland and astringent, it did froth up quite nice but the taste wasn't what i had hoped it to be."

Inconsistent Quality

"I absolutely loved this matcha. It had a vibrant flavor and was my favorite. However, I recently re-purchased and found that the product had inconsistent quality. It was dull, astringent, and bitter in a strange way I usually don't taste in matchas. Disappointed but I loved the first batch."

Best Matcha Hands Down

"I love this matcha! It has really spoiled me so that I won’t order matcha unless I know it’s Mizuba. Your matcha makes every other matcha taste like seaweed."

Flavor Profile Did Not Match the Product Description

"I purchased this matcha based on its description as mellow, smooth, buttery, sweet, and creamy, with full milky notes of freshly churned butter. However, my experience was very different. Across multiple preparations, the dominant characteristics were bitterness and astringency to the point that they largely overwhelmed the underlying matcha flavor. I contacted customer service and provided detailed preparation information. While they were courteous and responsive, I never received a clear explanation for the discrepancy between the flavor profile described on the product page and what I experienced. The company maintained that the matcha met their quality standards and attributed differences to natural harvest variation, but I was left uncertain as to why my experience differed so significantly from the advertised tasting notes. Others may have a different experience, but based on the product description, this matcha did not meet my expectations."

Bought it 3X!

"I really love this matcha. I’m new to it. It’s not astringent at all. Mellow but definitely has good flavor to it. I enjoy my matchas milky and not very sweet. The natural sweetness of the matcha is just enough."

I really thought I was gonna like this

"I'm disappointed with the taste and texture of this matcha. I bought it after hearing rave reviews from a YouTuber and had high hopes. I made it ushucha, and as an iced latte, and no matter how much extra liquid I added or how much sweetener I used, it came out grainy, quite astringent, and left a weird coating in my mouth. The graininess is more apparent in the ice latte form, I can actually see the powder particles separating and leaving a film in the glass. I don't know if I got a bad can, but I'm gonna try to make it the koicha way and see if that helps, but yeah, super disappointed with this."

I love it!

"The tea is delicious! You can taste the quality."

Q&A

In our household we drink matcha every day and its 2-4 servings a day. The small container doesn't last long, so I was wondering, do you sell larger size packages? The 1.4oz runs out quickly and creates waste. Would love access to larger quantity so we can reduce waste of tin can and packaging as well. Thank you,
Hi there! We love your enthusiasm for our tea! If you’re looking for a larger size, we *highly* recommend our 100g organic culinary: https://mizubatea.com/collections/matcha-green-tea/products/culinary-organic-matcha It’s quite similar to Daily as it is very smooth, but with the benefit of being packaged in 100g :) Thank you for your support of our farms in Japan!
