I really thought I was gonna like this

"I'm disappointed with the taste and texture of this matcha. I bought it after hearing rave reviews from a YouTuber and had high hopes. I made it ushucha, and as an iced latte, and no matter how much extra liquid I added or how much sweetener I used, it came out grainy, quite astringent, and left a weird coating in my mouth. The graininess is more apparent in the ice latte form, I can actually see the powder particles separating and leaving a film in the glass. I don't know if I got a bad can, but I'm gonna try to make it the koicha way and see if that helps, but yeah, super disappointed with this."

The color wasn’t as vibrant

"The color wasn’t as vibrant but it still tasted amazing and did a good microfoam. It pairs really well with fun lattes and the Team was so amazing and communicative, they truly care about their customers! I just repurchased this :)"

Strong gritty/chalky aftertaste

"I really wanted to love this matcha especially at such an affordable price point but unfortunately the strong gritty/chalky aftertaste is something I just can't get past. I even sifted it carefully and even tried adding extra milk or sweetener but nothing quite masks that flavor. Ive tested many matchas over the years, this one has been the most disappointing. It's such a shame, because finding a great tasting matcha at a reasonable price is already so difficult. Hoping the formula improves!"

Mediocre and uneasy taste

"I bought this daily matcha based on a youtuber’s review so I had a high expectation for it. When I first opened the package, the color of the powder was not a vibrant green so I kinda had a feeling that the quality wouldn’t be superb even before I tried it. The matcha favor was mediocre if not the least compared to other ceremonial grade matcha I have tried from many other brands."

Super yummy!!^^

"Pretty fast shipping and the overall flavor is pretty good for the price. The description of it being buttery is very accurate! The only thing i didn’t like was that they added bits of sugar to the powder. But honestly it’s nothing super bad and for price and flavor i can’t complain! I would purchase again."

My newest daily matcha

"First order; arrived packaged well & in reasonable time. I like the nutty notes with a semi bold & less astringent than other matches. Drink warm & if latte, with 1/2 cup organic coconut milk. Gives me caffeine & drinking less soda. Strong antioxidant & gives me a boost of energy with no crash. Worth the $."

Heavenly Taste :)

"I have received the order and it turns out very good! I will definitely come back again and buy from Mizuba Tea Co. Thank you, I enjoy my daily matcha so much."

I started drinking matcha green

"I started drinking matcha green tea once a week two years ago because of its benefits but I didn't care what brand it is and I always drink it as matcha latte until I saw a video of Michelle Kanemitsu talking about her top 10 matcha powders. She obviously loves the DAILY matcha, she described it as smooth, buttery, creamy, sweet, umami, etc so I decided to purchase it though I was hesitant thinking it will not be a good quality because of the weather (it's hot now and I don't know how it is being handled in the mail), when I received the packaging, it came with the instructions on how to make matcha both as koicha and usucha styles. Now, I drink it everyday as usucha style! I was happy to see that they sell it at Erewhon. I gave one to my daughter and my mom. Love, love, love this matcha powder!"

Jennifer O. (5/5)

fishy-smelling, and tastes terrible.

"Extremely disappointed with this matcha and the customer service. The powder is dull, indicating it is heavily oxidized or low-quality. It has a pungent, fishy/seaweed aroma and an overwhelming bitterness that makes it completely unpalatable, even in a latte. I reached out to the seller to request a return for this defective product, but they refused to help. Save your money and buy from a brand that actually cares about quality and food standards."

My new go to matcha!

"I am absolutely smitten with this matcha. The name daily aptly describes what it would be in your day’s routine. It was honestly love at first sip! The cherry on top is the affordability of it and the amazing customer service. You have a customer for life!"

Q&A

In our household we drink matcha every day and its 2-4 servings a day. The small container doesn't last long, so I was wondering, do you sell larger size packages? The 1.4oz runs out quickly and creates waste. Would love access to larger quantity so we can reduce waste of tin can and packaging as well. Thank you,
Hi there! We love your enthusiasm for our tea! If you’re looking for a larger size, we *highly* recommend our 100g organic culinary: https://mizubatea.com/collections/matcha-green-tea/products/culinary-organic-matcha It’s quite similar to Daily as it is very smooth, but with the benefit of being packaged in 100g :) Thank you for your support of our farms in Japan!
