Yama Matcha Green Tea

$47.00
Tin of Yama Mizuba Matcha powder on a wooden surface.

Using a time-honored technique called gogumi, this matcha is a blend of first-harvest Okumidori, Saemidori,  Inaguchi, and Asahikari cultivars and dances across the palate.

The Honyama region is famed for cedar groves, mineral-rich soil, and clear rivers. The natural shading of the dense mountain fog elicits tea with soft, smooth flavors, bright color, and a clear aroma that reminds you of the mountains. The tea has been highly regarded for centuries, specifically by shoguns! For generations, Honyama tea was an offering to the shogunate. Savor this special matcha worthy of a dignified gift.
