Classic Red Tokoname Kyusu

A classic, red Tokoname kyusu by renowned artisan Hokuryu III.
The clean lines, timeless design, and ample volume make this teapot an elegant vessel for your most treasured tea time. Made in the Tokoname-yaki tradition using Tokoname's famed, fine-grain Shudei (朱泥 - vermilion clay, whose color comes from the rich iron content).
We recommend brewing Mizuba sencha, kamairicha, genmaicha, or houjicha in this teapot.
The teapot also features a built-in ceramic strainer so you never have to worry about tea leaves slipping their way into your teacup.
