Our signature, elegant Matcha (chawan) bowl, supplied by our organic tea farm and made of glazed ceramic at Japan's well-known Shigaraki kiln – considered one of the 6 ancient kilns of Japan. Shigarakiyaki is prized for its rustic, natural style.
Sturdy and functional, yet artful and aesthetic, the bowl's wide-bottomed basin and high walls provide plenty of room for Matcha whisking without the splash. The lip's slight curve is a comfortable rest for serene Matcha sipping (although slurping is encouraged!).
