The days are getting warmer, but the nights are still perfect for sipping on a hot toddy — especially when it's the creation of an expert bartender... and when it features Mizuba tea ✨.
A bit of context: our friend Jim Meehan is a legendary bartender and pioneering figure in the craft cocktail revival — known for, among other things, helping found PDT, the acclaimed speakeasy in NYC. Jim Meehan's Carrot Top Toddy recipe, presented by Snowpeak:
- 5 oz. of our Chamomile Houjicha tea (8 oz. of 194ºF water + 5 grams tea + 4 minutes)
- 1.5 oz. Ransom Old Tom Gin
- .5 oz. Jacobsen Carrot Flower Honey syrup (2 parts honey to one part water, by weight)
- Build in a Snowpeak Stainless Double 240 Mug
- Garnish with a lemon wheel
